1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Sentio, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Sentio is an AI-powered personal journaling application that allows you to:

• Create journal entries through text, voice recordings, or images
• Receive AI-powered emotional analysis and insights
• Track mood patterns and emotional trends over time
• Access personalized Weekly Rewind summaries

3. Account Registration

To use Sentio, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Subscription and Payments

Sentio offers a subscription-based premium service:

• Free Trial: New users receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all features
• Premium Subscription: $19.99 per month, billed through the Apple App Store
• Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create within Sentio, including journal entries, voice recordings, and images. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to:

• Store and process your content to provide the service
• Analyze your content using AI to generate insights
• Create backups for data protection purposes

We will never share your personal journal content with third parties for advertising purposes.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Sentio for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of the service
• Use automated means to access the service without permission
• Share your account credentials with others

7. AI-Generated Content

Sentio uses artificial intelligence to analyze your journal entries and provide insights. Please note:

• AI-generated analysis is for informational purposes only
• Our AI is not a substitute for professional mental health advice
• If you are experiencing mental health concerns, please consult a qualified professional
• AI analysis may not always be accurate or complete

8. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Intellectual Property

The Sentio app, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by Sentio and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Sentio is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sentio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of Sentio after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
